Coach Roberts is passionate, warm/approachable, supportive, and successful. He was one of the main reasons that attracted our daughter to SIU. He was great with her and us as a family. He was interested in her well-being and not just her potential as an athlete. He creates a positive team culture through team building, and uses praise and positive reinforcement to get the best out of his players.

Craig is not only one of the most knowledgeable coaches in college soccer but he cares enough about the the student athletes to be honest and have the hard conversations. My daughter loved playing for him and he has continued to be a great influence in her post soccer career.

When explaining an idea or concept, Coach Craig always makes sure everyone is in the same page. He expects a lot from his players but also will take the time to hear a player if they have a different opinion or need help individually on the field. Something that is greatly appreciated by a lot of his players.

Craig coached all 3 of my daughters, because of his coaching my daughters were ver successful in soccer. He is very motivation-able for his players. He is a players coach and passionate for soccer. I would highly recommend him as a coach.

Craig is and has always been a class A 1 coach
He know soccer inside and out and i have personaly seen him take a college team from nothing and end up playing in the finals more than once.he is dedicated and knowledgable far beyond anyone else i know. If i had a team this is the man i would want to be coach

He taught us how to work together and how to be our best as a person and together as teammates. I really appreciated how respectful and professional he was along with making us feel like family. His tactics definitely reflected what we did on the field from the first game we played. His knowledge of the game and years of experience helped us to be a successful winning team when none of us thought we could be.

I found Craig’s honest and passionate mindset to the sport and to his players to be inspiring and what is required to make a professional athlete. I would highly recommend Craig and thank him for his time and efforts.
